What is Provably Fair?

Provably fair is a system that allows you to verify the fairness of a game.

How does BetHog ensure bets are provably fair?

BetHog guarantees fairness by combining three key elements to generate random, tamper-proof outcomes:

• Server seed– A random value created by BetHog’s servers, hidden until after the game is played.
• Client seed – A value generated by the player’s browser, adding a layer of player-side randomness.
• Cryptographic nonce – A counter that ensures each game round is unique and immune to manipulation.

When a game starts, these three components are merged and fed into a random number generator to produce the final result. Because both the player and the server contribute to the outcome—and each round is uniquely identified—it’s virtually impossible for anyone to alter or predict the result.

How can players verify a fair bet?

Players can confirm the fairness of any bet by reviewing the server seed, client seed, and cryptographic nonce on the verification tab.
